Across SydneyHomes, units and small business

Spiders can make a Como home feel unsettled quickly. Our job is to calm things down: one inspection, one plan, and a treatment that targets where they hide.

Como is part of Sutherland Shire, about 20 km south-west of the Sydney CBD. We also work in Bonnet Bay and Oyster Bay, so we know what local homes are up against.

Small problems are easier and cheaper to fix. If you have started noticing spiders, an early visit usually means a lighter treatment.

Local spider pressures in Como

Sandstone walls and coastal gardens in Como hide ground spiders and redbacks.

Como borders bushland, which is funnel-web country, so garages, sub-floors and shoes left outside deserve attention.

Our technicians cover the whole Sutherland area, from Como across to Jannali and Oyster Bay.

Signs to look out for

Webs returning under eaves and around outdoor lights
Large ground spiders appearing inside after rain
Silk-lined holes in garden beds or between rocks
Redbacks in letterboxes, pot plants or kids' toys left outside
Egg sacs in the garage, shed or sub-floor

What your visit includes

An outdoor inspection focused on where your family spends time
Treatment to eaves, gutters, window and door frames
Fences, play equipment, outdoor furniture and letterbox
Garage, shed and sub-floor treatment where accessible
Web removal within reach

Questions about spider control in Como

Do you help local businesses?

Yes, including cafés, shops and offices in Como, with written records and out-of-hours visits.

Will this stop funnel-webs completely?

No treatment can promise that. Male funnel-webs wander a long way in warm, wet months. Treatment reduces the risk around your home; keep shoes inside and a pressure bandage in your first-aid kit.

Can you visit Como this week?

Usually within a day or two, as we are often working nearby in Bonnet Bay. Call 0468 488 619 for the next opening.

Can you treat a whole strata building?

Yes. We treat individual units and common areas, and can work with your strata manager.

Is it safe around the kids' play area?

We use registered products and keep children and pets away until surfaces are dry. You can ask us to skip any area.

Is it safe for my kids and pets?

Tell us when you book. We plan around babies, children and pets, use baits and gels in hard-to-reach spots, and give you written times for re-entry.

Our promise to you

If the pests we treated come back during your warranty period, we will return and re-treat without charge. We would rather get it right than rush it.
